When I first started with dōTERRA, in April 2016, I was looking into essential oils so I could make my own  DIY deodorant. You see, Breast Cancer runs in my family. My mom had it and my mom’s mom had it too. I just had experienced a miscarriage and I was looking into ‘cleaning’ things up from what we were putting in and on our bodies, what we used in our home, and what we put back into the environment.

So I started my oil journey as a customer with wanting to make my own DIY deodorant. I did not want anything close to my lymph nodes/Breast tissues that was toxic, and commonly found in drug store deodorant. Toxic chemicals such as Artificial Fragrances, Paraben, and Aluminum, that are hormone disruptors, carcinogenic, or potentially linked to dementia/Alzheimer disease.

So after some research, I settled with dōTERRA  as my company of choice as I loved what they had to offer.
